EGLJ AD 2.20  LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1  Airport Regulations
  1. Operations may occur H24 seven days a week.

  2. Take-offs, landing and taxiing on grass are prohibited due to variable positioning of obstructions.

  3. Overflight of hangar and associated buildings prohibited below 1000 FT AGL.

4  Warnings
  1. Testing of ejection seats can occur at any time from the ground up to 600 FT AGL and are divided into the following categories:

    1. Seat tests from the centre of Chalgrove aerodrome up to heights of 600 FT AGL;

    2. Inflight tests from a Meteor aircraft carried out at ground level on Runway 12/30 at speeds between 60 to 130 KT;

    3. Inflight tests from a Meteor aircraft above Runway 06/24 take place at heights between 250 to 1000 FT AGL at speeds up to 450 KT;

    4. Parachute drop tests are conducted from helicopters up to 5500 FT AGL overhead Chalgrove.

  2. The aerodrome is encompassed by the Benson MATZ.
